A vintage mid-century cypress knee (or burl wood) sculptural table lamp paired with a rustic textured paper shade. Crafted from a natural, organic cypress knee or root formation mounted on a squared wooden base. Features a laced or stitched parchment-textured cone lampshade.
This retro table lamp captures quintessential "Old Florida" in one piece. Constructed from a solid Florida Bald Cypress "Knee," this lamp design was popular in Florida throughout the early 1960s and harkens back to a time when Florida was truly wild. With spectacular burlwood knots, woodgrains, and perfectly imperfect natural shapes, this lamp is the perfect gift for those who appreciate Florida's wild, vintage past. In good vintage condition with some wear and patina. Shade IS included.
