This magnificent pair of Famille Rose porcelain ginger jars is a true celebration of traditional Asian art. The body of each jar is vividly decorated with detailed illustrations of oxen (water buffalo) in a landscape setting, inspired by the famous "Five Oxen" painting. The scene is complemented by traditional red seal marks and calligraphy. The jars feature ornate, colorful borders at the rim and base, and are topped with matching domed lids with gilded finials.
Measuring 17 cm (approx. 6.7 inches) in height and 12 cm (approx. 4.7 inches) in width, these jars make a stunning symmetrical display. Whether placed together on a mantel, console table, or bookshelf, they bring a touch of vintage sophistication and cultural richness to any interior space.
