This is a rare and highly collectible mid-20th-century Italian Capodimonte porcelain table lamp, measuring 23 inches in height. The centerpiece of the lamp features a beautifully detailed, hand-painted figurative scene depicting a young boy and girl playing at a rustic village water pump.
A spectacular and uncommon highlight of this piece is its matching, original pierced porcelain dome shade. Decorated with intricate ceramic latticework and adorned with delicate, hand-applied dimensional porcelain roses and flowers, the shade diffuses light beautifully to create an enchanting patterned glow when lit.
The entire porcelain structure is mounted on an elegant, ornate footed gilt brass base that displays a wonderful vintage patina. This exquisite statement piece is perfect for adding old-world European charm to Traditional, Hollywood Regency, or Eclectic interiors
