Crafted from a brass or white copper tone metal, this distinctive piece features a long, elegantly curved stem leading down to a rectangular base. The front of the base is adorned with a beautifully embossed circular medallion depicting a traditional figural scene (likely scholars or immortals in a garden setting).

The pipe is further embellished with a delicate hanging chain, accented with a green jade-tone bead and a red agate-tone bead, along with a miniature metal tool. The structure includes the classic water chamber, a small side tube, and the main mouthpiece.

This piece has a wonderful patina and rustic charm. It would make a fascinating conversation starter displayed on a bookshelf, desk, or as part of an Asian antiques collection. See less
