Sculptural Slatted Wood Cocoon Daybed With Architectural Oval Frame
A striking marriage of sculptural artistry and functional design, this extraordinary wooden cocoon daybed brings architectural interest and organic beauty to any thoughtfully curated space.
Measuring approximately 84 inches long, its dramatic elongated oval silhouette is formed by an intricate arrangement of layered wooden slats. Radiating interior supports create a captivating geometric pattern, while the natural wood finish highlights the piece's distinctive character and craftsmanship.
Perfect as a statement piece in a sunroom, conservatory, spacious living area, garden retreat, or covered veranda, this unusual daybed offers endless possibilities for creating an inviting and intimate lounging space.
Two-Piece Construction: The daybed consists of two separate components: the sculptural oval upper structure and a coordinating, removable layered wooden slat base. The components are not permanently attached and can be separated for moving and transport.
Dimensions: Approximately 84" L × 31" D × 52" H.
Condition: Pre-owned, with natural weathering, surface wear, and variations in wood color and finish. Please examine all actual photographs carefully for condition and construction details. Wood species, maker, age, and origin have not been verified.
Cushion Not Included: The original cushion is missing. This piece is offered without a mattress, cushion, pillows, or decorative accessories. The buyer will need to provide suitable cushioning for lounging comfort.
Important Note Regarding Photographs: This listing includes both actual photographs of the daybed and AI-generated, digitally staged lifestyle images intended solely to illustrate possible decorating and placement ideas. The staged images are artistic visualizations and may differ from the actual piece in wood color, proportions, slat configuration, construction details, and appearance. Cushions, pillows, throws, trays, and all other decorative elements shown in these images are not included.
The actual, unstaged photographs are the authoritative representation of the item being sold. Please rely on those photographs, rather than the digitally staged images, when evaluating its exact design, construction, finish, and condition.
Outdoor weather resistance has not been established; use in a protected setting is recommended.
