A 19th Century French Enamel on Copper Patch Trinket Box by Samson. A very charming scene, of a young child has a pet Bird on a string. In the background is a cottage with a picket fence. Bright Vibrant colors. A Rose and Leaf border on a white base.
Measures approximately, 1 ¾” x 1 ½” x 1”. Pictured next to a quarter coin for scale. Very good condition to the enamel. The box doesn’t close quite so tight.
