This exceptional micro-sized piece was executed by Herta Baller in Vienna, Austria, during the 1950s.

A true masterpiece of Austrian Modernism, this figurine perfectly captures Bosse’s celebrated "Black Golden" design philosophy. Despite its minuscule size, it showcases incredible stylized geometry, oversized listening ears, and a charmingly blocky, abstracted silhouette characteristic of a newborn calf.

Weighing exactly 22 grams and measuring roughly 1.5 inches in length and height, this pocket-sized design icon is a rare and highly sought-after variant among Walter Bosse enthusiasts. It is perfect for display in a printers drawer, curation on a mid-century étagère, or integration into a miniature collection. The brass retains a stunning, authentic aged patina with beautiful golden undertones. See less
