Vintage Robert Abbey Doughnut C Floor Lamp.
Verification: Label on the bottom of the base confirms the manufacturing history and authenticates the production period:
• Manufacturer Tracking: The Underwriters Laboratories file number UL NO. E216694 links directly to Guangzhou King's Metal Ware & Lamps Co Ltd, which serves as an primary overseas manufacturing facility utilized by Robert Abbey.
• Production Date: The stamped numbers 06/07 indicate that this specific unit was manufactured in June 2007, aligning with the silver UL issue label tracking from late 2006/2007 (Issue No. BK-52,925).
Authentic early-production piece from Robert Abbey in highly complete condition with the original top.
Vintage and early-2000s designer lamps from this collection are highly sought after because of their durable geometric construction.
Manufactured using premium, designer-grade interior finishes:
• Frame and Base: Constructed entirely from heavy-gauge steel. This specific unit features a matte Black Lacquered Paint finish baked directly over the metal structure.
• Main Hardback Shade: Made of structured off-white/cream woven fabric (structured linen or cotton blend) laminated over a hardback polystyrene core to hold its sharp rectangular shape.
• Top Diffuser Shield: Features matching cream fabric paneling stretched tightly over an internal steel frame wire.
• Finial & Socket Hardware: The signature square cube finial on top and the internal socket assembly are solid cast metal hardware finished to match the main frame.
The lamp has on/off switch which dims high/low.
