For Sale Today:
A pair of RARE Mid-Century Modern Italian Dovetailed Wooden Hangers with their original reaching stick poles.
Classic 1950s - 1960s 'wishbone' shape.
Marked 'Made in Italy' as well as 'Zigrinatura Brevettata' (patented knurling / grooving (referring to the textured grip on the trouser bar)). No manufacturers marks, but based on the high-end construction, it is almost certainly either produced by Fratelli Reguitti or one of their direct competitors as part of a wholesale batch or as a White Label production to an international retailer.
Reacher pole unscrews and will be shipped unscrewed in order to save on shipping costs. The threading of the reacher pole is wood. Some minor 'play' present in the reaching poles.
Overall, fair condition. Minor chip present to one edge of one of the hangers. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering. As they are part of the description, please enlarge all photographs to better ascertain details and condition.
Dimensions (in inches):
(of one hanger only (each approximately same size))
