An exceptional early-to-mid-20th-century multi-faceted geometric vessel in the manner of the Arts & Crafts and Mission movements. This hand-formed sheet metal vase features a striking tapered rectangular profile, robust angular paneling, and an elegant flanged rim.
The piece boasts an authentic, untouched, and richly layered dark reddish-brown oxidized patina that highlights its structural, architectural form.
A highly versatile styling piece, it serves beautifully as a rustic ikebana floral vase, a cachepot planter, or a standalone decorative mantle accent for a historic or mid-century interior. Unmarked base. Excellent vintage condition with historic surface wear consistent with age.

This mid-century piece boasts a spectacular, completely original dark, mottled, reddish-brown antiqued patina with gorgeous, deep texture throughout. Consistent with its age and history as a functional vase, the vessel displays light surface scuffs, historic weathering, and interior mineral staining. Along the lower edges of the base rim, minor frictional wear reveals faint, bright golden-yellow brass undertones. The structural form remains incredibly sound, stable, and rigid, with sharp geometric facets and an intact flanged rim. It has been intentionally left unpolished to preserve its authentic aged character. less
