Vintage Zsolnay Eosin iridescent green and gold porcelain / ceramic figurines made in Pécs, Hungary, featuring a seated child in a bonnet and a stylized frog.
Zsolnay Eosin Glaze: Developed around 1899 by the Zsolnay Pottery factory, the Eosin name comes from the Greek word eos (dawn) because the shimmering, metallic, color-shifting luster finish resembles the colors of the dawn sky.
• Seated Child Figurine: Depicts a young child or baby wearing a bonnet in a sitting pose
• Frog Figurine: A classic Zsolnay animal motif with wide-spread webbed feet and a high-gloss iridescent green-gold finish.
