A prominent curved form anchors the composition, balanced by irregular organic shapes and atmospheric tonal passages.

The paper’s exposed, irregular edges lend a tactile quality to the presentation, while a black frame with a narrow gold-toned inner border provides a tailored finish. Its restrained palette and expressive composition make it a compelling counterpoint to antique furniture, richly figured wood, and traditional textiles—equally suited to an intimate study or a collected gallery wall.

Signed in the lower-right margin. A handwritten note retained on the frame backing identifies the work as an “Original Lithograph by Martha Cianelli.” Acquired from a Northern Virginia estate.
