Attractive pair of vintage silver-plated candlesticks with tapered fluted stems, rounded bases, and decorative gadroon borders around the bases and candle cups.
One bears the underside mark “English Silver Mfg. Corp., Made in USA.” Each measures approximately 12½ inches high with a base diameter of 5¾ inches.
The interiors of the candle sockets are threaded, possibly for additional attachments. Offered as the two single-light candlesticks pictured; no branching attachments are included.
Vintage condition with surface scratches, tarnish, scattered spotting, and areas of finish wear. One has a small dent along the bottom edge that causes a slight wobble on a flat surface. Its underside also shows an irregular split or separation in the bottom covering, visible in the photographs. Old label remnants remain underneath both.
