A striking pair of wooden obelisk table lamps by The Natural Light Company of Panama City, Florida.
Each lamp is built like a small monument: a stepped square plinth raised on small feet, a large cream-colored ball carrying the tapered white obelisk column, a stepped capital, and a second smaller ball beneath the brass socket — the balls have mellowed to a warm cream that sets off the crisp white columns beautifully. Both lamps are marked for The Natural Light Co.
The pair comes with its original hardback glossy white empire shades (top 7 in, bottom 18 in, slant 11 in), which present in near-mint condition.
A classic decorator form — architectural, symmetrical, and made to flank a console, buffet, or pair of nightstands.
Measurements per lamp: 29½ in to top of finial; 19 in to bottom of socket; base 4¾ in square; column 2¼ in wide at the top of the shaft.
Shades included.
Condition: very good vintage condition.
