Dating to the late 1950s or early 1960s, this piece features its original, premium-grade taupe vinyl upholstery. Unlike many vintage vinyl pieces that become brittle over time, the vinyl on this stool is wonderfully soft, supple, and comfortable to the touch. The padded seat is neatly finished with matching welt cording around the perimeter and sits upon four stylishly tapered maple wood legs with brass capped feet.
The bottom features its original metal mounting brackets and retains its original legal content disclosure tag, noting a traditional cotton felt filling blend.

Perfect for use as a low footrest, accent seating in a compact space, a vanity stool, or as a classic companion to a mid-century lounge chair. A versatile, structurally sound, and beautiful piece of MCM design history.

Condition Notes:
Excellent structural integrity with no tears, rips, or seam splits. The original vinyl remains supple, pliable, and comfortable. It has been deep cleaned and vinyl conditioned with UV Protectant.

Shows minor cosmetic vintage character, including faint superficial scuffs, minor dark transfer marks, and light finish wear consistent with age and careful use. Legs screw in securely and original law tag is partially intact on the bottom. Legs show age related finish/stain wear to wood and brass. See less
