Bring warmth, timeless detail, and practical storage to your home with this matching pair of vintage nightstands from Drexel’s Cabernet collection, dating to circa the 1970s. Both retain their Cabernet by Drexel back stamps, and a Drexel maker’s mark is visible inside a drawer.
A rich brown wood finish showcases expressive grain, complemented by shaped top edges, framed drawer fronts, carved floral-and-scroll aprons, and gracefully curved legs. Decorative metal pulls complete their inviting French Provincial character.
Each nightstand features two generously proportioned drawers with dovetail joinery—a traditional construction detail valued for its strong, interlocking corners. Together, the pair provides four drawers of enclosed storage for bedside essentials or living room accessories.
Refreshed by Old Dogs, New Tricks Restorations, each nightstand has received two fresh topcoats to renew the finish and add protection while preserving the beauty of the visible wood grain.
The broad tops offer room for lamps, books, and decorative accents. Their 21½-inch height makes them especially well suited to lower beds, and they also work beautifully as substantial end tables beside a sofa or lounge chairs.
Dimensions, each:
30″ wide × 18″ deep × 21½″ high.
Sold together as a matching pair.
Condition: Vintage pieces with a refreshed finish and two new topcoats on each nightstand. Minor age-related marks and variations in tone remain visible. Please review the detailed photographs. Decorative accessories are not included.
Includes custom fitted glass tops. One of the glass tops has 2 small chips on the edge.
