These sculptural chairs combine an enveloping, contemporary silhouette with an incredibly comfortable sit and a subtle rocking motion.

This pair was custom upholstered in Métaphores Spuma in the Ardoise colorway—a sophisticated textured textile in layered blue-gray/charcoal tones. The upholstery beautifully emphasizes the curved form of the chairs, while the exposed solid oak rocking bases add warmth and architectural detail.

These are genuinely very comfortable chairs. The deep, generously padded seat and wraparound back create an almost cocoon-like feel, while the gently curved oak base provides a subtle, relaxing rocking motion. Bernhardt specifically designed the Abra around this combination of comfort and movement.

Dimensions: 34⅛" W × 37¼" D × 29¼" H; seat height 18¾"; arm height 27½".
