Entirely veneered in walnut, the piece showcases exquisite marquetry.

Each drawer is fitted with a delicate keyhole escutcheon surmounted by a Louis XVI knot and beaded ring handles. These bronze mounts add a touch of subtle brilliance to the front, completing this masterpiece.

The top features a superb, finely inlaid compass rosette at its center. This geometric rigor continues harmoniously along the straight uprights, which extend into four tapered legs, elongating the overall silhouette.
