Each arm ends in a pale green cone-shaped socket holder, creating a beautiful contrast with the aged brass structure and the mirrored bulbs. A particularly charming detail is the fine decorative wirework between the arms, finished with small flower-like accents. These delicate elements soften the otherwise atomic silhouette and give the lamp a playful 1950s character, somewhere between sputnik design and floral ceiling sculpture. The lamp has a light, open presence and works beautifully in a hallway, bedroom, living room or above a small dining area. Its compact ceiling-mounted form makes it decorative without feeling too heavy, while the mix of brass, green accents and sculptural arms gives it a distinctive vintage personality. The brass shows natural patina, small marks and age-related surface variation. The green socket details and floral accents also show light traces of use consistent with age. Overall, a charming and unusual german sputnik ceiling light with strong 1950s character. The light requires eight e14 light bulbs. Compatible with us, european and worldwide electrical systems (120/220v).
