A stylish and very rare pair of vintage Danish armchairs by Illum Wikkelsø. This model is called the ‘Plexus’ armchair. It was designed for and made by CFC Silkeborg in the 1960s.
They have a gorgeous design, with finely sculpted frames. It is highly unusual to see this model, which has both a lovely colour and stunning grain patterns.
We have had these fully restored. They are in superb condition for their age. The frames have been stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, with brand new webbing under the seat bases. The feather-filled leather cushions and leather-panelled sides have been newly upholstered and hand-coloured to give this gorgeous colour tone.
