Each mirror features a warm-toned wooden frame embellished with a rhythmic arrangement of blue glazed ceramic studs, creating a refined decorative border that perfectly balances craftsmanship and modernist simplicity.

The rich reddish-brown wood contrasts beautifully with the vivid cobalt and azure hues of the ceramic accents. Variations in the glaze and texture of the handmade ceramic elements lend depth and individuality to each mirror, while the circular form provides a timeless and versatile aesthetic suitable for a wide range of interiors.

Whether displayed as a symmetrical pair above a sideboard or console, flanking a doorway, or incorporated into a curated gallery wall, these mirrors offer both functional appeal and sculptural presence. Their restrained yet distinctive design is characteristic of the high-quality decorative mirrors for which Deknudt became renowned in the mid-20th century.

Both mirrors retain their original character and bear the "Gedeponeerd model / Modèle déposé" stamp on the reverse, indicating a registered design. An attractive and increasingly sought-after example of Belgian mid-century decorative design.

Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Small chips are present to portions of the back edge of the wooden frames, not visible when hung. Light wear and minor surface irregularities to the glazed ceramic studs consistent with age and use. This piece has an attribution mark,
