When fully opened, the individual panels radiate outward to create a dramatic peacock-tail silhouette, transforming a practical hearth accessory into an architectural statement piece.

The central framework is particularly beautiful, featuring scrolling foliage, pierced ornamentation and a tall turned finial. At the base, deeply modeled foliate forms anchor the composition, while the repeating perforated panels create an intricate lace-like effect across its impressive width.
