Standing approximately 15 inches tall on broad 6 3/4-inch bases, the candlesticks have exceptional presence. Their stacked architectural forms are finished in a beautifully muted palette of sage green, warm terracotta, soft cream and blush.

Raised white roses in relief surround the lower portion of each candlestick, providing wonderful dimension and texture. Hand-painted pink and purple blossoms with green foliage are incorporated among the raised decoration, creating a particularly attractive combination of relief work and painted ornamentation.

The intentionally distressed surface allows areas of warm terracotta to emerge beneath the painted finish and gives the pair a wonderfully aged, collected appearance.

Their impressive proportions make these as successful as sculptural decorative objects as they are functional candlesticks. They would make a dramatic addition to a large dining table, mantel, sideboard, console or entryway.

Beautiful for an Old World, Mediterranean-inspired, European country, romantic, bohemian or eclectic interior.

Measurements, each approximately:

15" H
6 3/4" base diameter
5 1/2" at widest portion
1 1/2" candle opening

The openings accommodate standard taper candles.

Vintage condition with intentional distressed and weathered surface character. Variations in color, rubbing and irregularities contribute to the aged decorative appearance. Please examine photographs carefully for condition.
