An antique print of an Italian shoe advertisement in a burl wood frame with a thin gilt inner edge and dark corner accents. The print is entitled “Calzature,” which is the Italian word for footwear, and is laid out as a grid of sixteen black-and-white engraved advertisements. Each panel is labeled with a model name, price in lire and shows a different style of footwear: including, men’s ankle boots, lace-ups and cyclist’s shoes; ladies’ button boots and heeled pumps; and children’s shoes and rubber overshoes.
