It features a striking juxtaposition of a stylized dragon handle and an elephant-trunk spout, making it a true statement piece for any collector of Asian antiques or Chinoiserie decor.

Key Features:

Design: The ewer features a highly detailed, domed lid with a finial. The body is adorned with scrolling floral and foliate motifs, small raised bosses (resembling pearls or beads), and draping garland patterns.

Handle & Spout: The elaborate handle is crafted in the shape of a stylized dragon (or mythical beast), while the spout emerges from an elephant-head form, a symbol of wisdom and strength in Buddhist culture.

Material & Patina: Made of solid copper with a rich, dark purplish-brown patina (imitating an antiqued finish), giving it a heavy, substantial feel and a look of deep antiquity.

Weight & Size: With a height of 27 cm (10.6 inches) and a wide span of 26.5 cm (10.4 inches), it is a substantial piece. It would make a stunning display on a mantel, bookshelf, or as a centerpiece. See less
