Printed by Grafodan Offset to commemorate the "Work in Progress" survey exhibition at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Denmark running from November 19, 1977, to January 15, 1978, the layout integrates bold black minimalist typography at the upper and lower margins. The artwork showcases dynamic Action Painting design elements composed of multi-colored paint splatters, controlled drips, and bleeding saturation in hues of red, blue, green, yellow, and violet overlapping an underlying geometric grid format. The piece is permanently housed in a custom, archival clear acrylic box frame featuring a recessed wood base and finished structural side returns. Fabrication was completed under a historic joint label by Jerry Solomon Enterprises and Munn Picture Frames at their West Third Street facility in Los Angeles, California. The original professional framing label is retained on the reverse side of the assembly. The vintage acrylic box casing remains structurally sound with the rear hanging wire securely intact, displaying minor superficial surface wear, light scuffs, and a minimal amount of trapped dust/debris beneath the plexiglass face consistent with age and careful residential display. Bottom right edge wear. Please see all photos and the video. Display ready rare collection piece.
