Published by Galerie Maeght s.a. to commemorate Miró's solo exhibition at Galleri J.M.S. in Oslo, Norway, running from May to June 1983, the layout incorporates Norwegian typography reading "Baldersgt. 12 - Frognerveien." The abstract modernist design showcases graphic elements of heavy black fluid linework contrasted against bright color blocks of primary red, vivid blue, and stark yellow over a textured silver-grey background field. The piece is permanently housed in a custom, archival clear acrylic box frame featuring a recessed wood base and finished structural side returns. Fabrication was completed under a historic joint label by Jerry Solomon Enterprises and Munn Picture Frames at their West Third Street facility in Los Angeles, California. The original professional framing label is retained on the reverse side of the assembly. The vintage acrylic box casing remains structurally sound with the rear hanging wire securely intact, displaying minor superficial surface wear, light scuffs, and a minimal amount of trapped dust/debris beneath the plexiglass face consistent with age and careful residential display. Please see all photos and the video. Display ready rare collection piece.
