An elegant Italian tabletop photo frame from the 1970s, designed by Tommaso Barbi and crafted from Murano glass and brass. Its circular structure features striking clear glasswork in a *torchon* pattern—a twisted, highly sculptural design that creates a refined interplay of light and reflections around the central opening. The internal structure and rear support are crafted from brass, creating an elegant contrast with the transparency of the glass. The brass retains its original patina, a feature that preserves the piece’s authentic, vintage character. The Tommaso Barbi signature is engraved on the brass, confirming the piece’s authenticity. The quality of the Murano glass craftsmanship, the balanced proportions, and the refined metal construction attest to the high standard of Italian manufacturing in the 1970s.
