Its original function makes it a vintage industrial and rustic piece of furniture, with a charm that has stood the test of time—perfect for those seeking a piece of furniture with character and authenticity. Its distinctive feature is the solid wood top, which features an oval stone set in the center, carved with a chisel—a testament to the artisanal craftsmanship of the era. The structure was modified in the 20th century with the addition of plywood sides, reflecting how the piece’s use has evolved over time. The two drawers and the bench underneath make it highly functional. Ideal as a striking desk or display table, adding an element of design and history.
