Handcrafted, cylindrical ceramic vase from the Römhild pottery workshop in Thuringia, dating from the 1960s.
The satin-finish glaze in aubergine and berry violet is interspersed with irregular black inclusions, creating a vibrant, porous surface reminiscent of a fine lava glaze. The interior is glazed in glossy black.
The unglazed foot ring reveals the red clay body and bears the impressed workshop mark. This piece has an attribution mark,
