A smart and very well made antique Victorian open bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.
The quality is great, this is of lovely slim proportions. It stands on a plinth base and has two adjustable shelves that rest on shark teeth supports. The grain patterns and colour tones and beautiful throughout.
This is in excellent condition for its age, we have had it re-polished. There is just some minor old wear here and there remaining beneath the polish.
