Expressive brushwork and a subtle use of colour create a lively yet balanced composition, with the softly handled forms giving the work an appealing sense of texture and movement. The painting retains its original frame, which has a lightly distressed finish consistent with its age and complements the decorative character of the work. Presented in good vintage condition, with minor wear to the frame consistent with age.
