The design consists of a substantial square base supporting a generously proportioned cup-shaped shade crafted in wood, creating a powerful architectural silhouette that perfectly embodies the emerging modern aesthetic of the Art Deco period.

The warm-toned wooden exterior exhibits a rich patina and beautiful grain, while the metallic interior reflects and amplifies the light source, producing a soft, ambient glow. This contrast between the dark polished wood and luminous interior lends the lamp a refined and sophisticated presence, whether illuminated or displayed as a sculptural object.

with its pure geometric forms and restrained ornamentation, the lamp reflects the transition from decorative Art Nouveau influences toward the cleaner, more streamlined language of early Art Deco design. The balanced composition and elegant proportions make it an exceptional accent piece for both period and contemporary interiors.

Equally decorative and functional, this rare uplighter creates warm indirect lighting ideal for a console, side table, library, bedroom, or living room setting.

Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and minor signs of use consistent with age. Metallic interior showing natural patina and wear commensurate with nearly a century of use.
