Offered as a charming matched pair, these limited-edition prints by Canadian artist Karen Hoepting feature her signature modern primitive style, blending whimsical animal portraiture with abstract, folk-inspired elements.
The set includes:
"spirit leaf II" featuring a colorful patterned elephant with bird and gear details
"spirit leaf IV" featuring two stylized giraffes against a rich crimson background
Both works are hand-signed "K. hoepting", titled, and identically numbered 65/200 in pencil along the lower margin. Having both pieces from the same edition number makes this a true collector's pair, ideal for a children's nursery, gallery wall, or contemporary living room layout.
Each print is professionally framed under glass in matching blue-stained wooden frames with bright white matting and sealed dust covers with hanging wires. Custom framing originally completed by Frame of Mind Gallery.
Condition: Excellent pre-owned condition. Artwork colors are vivid and crisp. Matting shows faint, age-typical toning along the inner frame edge. Blue wood frames show minor surface nicks and gentle wear consistent with careful handling and age.
