Cast in concrete, the sculptural composition is distinguished by gracefully curved bodies, expressive dolphin heads, and finely modeled details that lend movement and character to the substantial architectural form.

Originally part of an outdoor fountain, the pedestal has been preserved as a decorative garden element. Its generous proportions make it especially suitable as a base for a classical sundial or, with the addition of a properly supported glass or marble top, as an occasional table for a covered terrace or garden seating area.

Equally appropriate in a formal English garden, a French-inspired courtyard, or a Palm Beach landscape, the piece offers the charm of traditional European garden ornamentation with the versatility to complement a range of outdoor settings.
