A sculptural vintage garden pedestal featuring three stylized dolphins arranged around a central support, cast in concrete with beautifully weathered surfaces and classical detailing. The intertwined dolphins reference the maritime ornament found in European fountains and formal gardens, lending the piece a distinctly neoclassical character.
Originally part of a fountain, the pedestal has a shallow circular basin at the top and a substantial cylindrical base. Its compact proportions make it particularly well suited for displaying a garden sundial or serving as an architectural ornament in its own right. Place a piece of glass or marble on top, and it could act as an outdoor side table.
Equally at home in an English country garden, a French-inspired courtyard, or a Palm Beach terrace, this piece offers the charm of aged garden statuary without requiring a large setting.
