Bring global mid-century soul into your space with this stunning, hand-carved sculptural table lamp base. Masterfully whittled from a single block of solid Southeast Asian teak wood circa the 1960s, the design features a spectacular trio of outward-facing elephants supporting a highly detailed, textured pineapple column and a blooming lotus flower bud motif.
The heavy, turned circular base is deeply incised with a traditional geometric border. Flip the piece over to reveal its authentic provenance—the underside retains handwritten artisan workshop characters in black ink alongside vintage red inventory marks, a testament to its handmade mid-century import roots. Fitted with its original vintage brass Leviton socket, this sculptural statement piece is perfect for adding warmth to Hollywood Regency, Boho, or Eclectic interiors.

Excellent vintage structural condition overall. The solid teak wood base displays a beautiful rich tone and natural grain variance. Out of the three carved elephants, two retain one of their original tusks, while one is missing both tusks (see photos). The vintage electrical cord and Leviton socket are intact and working. The raw wood underside features authentic vintage hand-written trade characters and light inspection markings. See less
