Zelman & Friedman is a NYC jewelry manufacturer, established in 1951. They were a primary manufacturer for Tiffany & Co. in their early years, and are known for their high production standards and superb workmanship. Created by Z & F, this 14k gold deeply textured elongated link bracelet has the same excellent quality that can be found in a Tiffany & Co. piece. When looked at from the side, the undulating links are reminiscent of ocean waves, and are hinged at each link to allow for flexibility. The links are deeply textured beyond a Florentine finish, for a striking, almost organic, look. The hidden box clasp is integrated into the design, with a safety clasp for added security. Circa the 1960’s, this has the bold, modern jewelry aesthetic that dominated the era.
The bracelet measures 7.25” and is 9/16” wide. It weighs 35.6 grams.
Marked as 14k gold and Z & F.
Looks great alone and stacks well with other pieces.
