This is a massive beauty, but not in the least overbearing. Sophisticated English style, it has drawers on both sides, one wide above the knee hole, flanked with what appears to be four drawers on each side, while actually there are three, since the bottom two are combined to make a hanging file drawer. It is made in 3 pieces, two massive bases and the large top as a bridge. Both bases have brass castor wheels mounted below, so the desk rolls around with ease. Previous owner paid more than double the price 35 years ago. Condition is good overall, shows age / use wear, polished and clean, leather is conditioned, flat and smooth while showing signs of use - please see photos. Size is palatial 72" wide, 47.5" deep, and 30" tall, while the knee clearance is 23.5" in height. This is a power piece, a workhorse with great looks that will work in any traditional or mid-century modern setting. See less
