Elevate your space with this stunning mid-century modern high-back lounge chair and matching curved footstool set. Masterfully designed in the British Colonial / Mexican "Scorpion" style, this set stands out due to its exceptional organic architecture and rare artisanal detailing.
The focal point of the dramatically raked, high-back frame is an intricate, beautifully preserved geometric starburst medallion inlay near the crest, framed by dark woven reed detailing. Constructed from robust, thick-gauge bent bamboo poles with an incredibly sturdy A-frame tri-pod support system in the rear, the structural integrity of both pieces is outstanding. The hand-woven natural rattan body wraps effortlessly to provide an ergonomic, low-slung lounging profile that is as comfortable as it is sculptural.
Perfect for Bohemian, Hollywood Regency, Coastal, or Tropical-infused organic modern interiors.
