Bland material: watercolour on paper, wood, glass a charming late 20th-century watercolour by d. M. Bland depicting scarborough harbour, rendered with a delicate and atmospheric approach to colour. The composition captures the character of the harbour through loose, expressive brushwork and a subtle palette, giving the scene an appealing impressionistic quality. The artist's restrained use of colour creates a sense of light and atmosphere while maintaining the architectural and maritime character of the subject. Presented beneath glass with a museum-style mount and housed within a wooden frame, the work is ready for display. Its coastal subject and understated palette make it particularly suitable for both traditional and contemporary interiors. Presented in good vintage condition, with appropriate signs of age consistent with its late 20th-century origin. Artist: d. M.
