Stool designed at the Ulm School of Design (HfG Ulm), based on the model developed in 1954 by Max Bill with Hans Gugelot and Paul Hildinger. This streamlined version was produced from 1962 onwards in the HfG Ulm workshops.
Made of particleboard panels with turned wood crossbars, it could serve as a seat, a small table, or an occasional table. Its simple and economical construction directly reflects the functional principles taught at Ulm.
Edition: HfG Ulm, circa 1962. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
