The chandelier features an elegantly detailed oxidized brass frame with five sculptural arms, each supporting a broad, shallow bowl-shaped glass shade. The molded glass shades have a warm amber-orange tone with darker brown accents, creating a striking contrast with the aged brass. The central stem is richly decorated with a large spirally molded glass sphere and a series of small amber glass pendants suspended from gracefully curved brass supports. Above, the chandelier is suspended from a long stem wrapped in golden-brown thread, finished with decorative textile detailing and a woven knot beneath the original brass ceiling canopy. A particularly decorative example of Swedish lighting from the Art Deco period, combining sculptural metalwork, richly colored glass and textile details. The chandelier retains its five original brass lamp holders and displays an attractive age-related patina throughout.
