A spectacular and poetic Christmas composition in an exquisitely eclectic and brocante style, conceived as an exclusive interior decoration for the holidays.
Thanks to its generous dimensions, with an overall height of 52 cm and a base diameter of 32.5 cm, it is a monumental piece of furniture with a striking visual impact, ideal for decorating high-end shop windows, entrances, large console tables, or sophisticated living rooms.
The heart of the work is an authentic and rare cylindrical panettone box made of glossy rigid cardboard from the historic "Pasticceria Confetteria F.lli Belli Gallarate," dating back to the 1930s, as certified by the extremely rare three-digit period telephone number printed on the original artwork.
The box retains a splendid patina and features perfectly legible writing on both the body and lid, including the famous "Specialità Panettone alla Milanese" logo.
What's included in the lot (items included in the sale):
* The vintage Art Deco box (diameter 32.5 cm): structurally sound, solid, and clean inside, complete with its original printed lid.
* The antique books: a pair of authentic French vintage books with the characteristic dusty yellow distressed covers, to be placed side by side inside the box as an elegant structural height enhancer to adjust the height of the tree.
* The textile stole: a large, full-bodied stole in ivory-colored, thick wool, woven into a soft blanket of snow at the base of the tree.
* The snow-covered tree decorated on the front: a small tree with a snow-effect finish specifically designed for frontal display (optimized for walls, furniture, or display cases). It is enriched with carefully selected brocante-style decorations: original hand-rolled early 20th-century musical scores, gold-plated mercury glass balls, and rusted metal rattles with a Wabi-Sabi feel.
All modern plastics have been deliberately avoided among the decorations.
