The frame is composed of broad, flowing C-scrolls that intertwine around the plate to form a distinctive, organic outline. Asymmetrical acanthus leaves and foliate details bring a dynamic sense of movement to the piece, anchored by pronounced crest and base ornaments. Rather than relying on intricate surface etching, the design emphasizes generous proportions, deeply curved contours, and a warm, aged gilding that enhances its sculptural quality.
This distinctive piece is equally suited to anchor a traditional interior or to serve as a striking, high-contrast focal point within a contemporary setting.
