Its main feature is a sculptural glass shade in a warm champagne-amber tone, decorated with raised glass bubbles. The rich, irregular texture beautifully refracts the light, creating a soft, warm glow on the wall when illuminated. The translucent glass subtly changes its appearance depending on the lighting and surrounding colours.

The design draws inspiration from decorative glass lighting of the mid-20th century and recalls the work of Helena Tynell, known for her distinctive sculptural glass lamps. The textured glass shade is paired with a simple dark wall mount, which keeps the focus on the decorative glass.

This sconce would make an interesting addition to vintage, mid-century modern and eclectic interiors. It can be installed beside a bed, in a hallway, next to a mirror or in a living room as atmospheric accent lighting. Its compact size also makes it an easy way to introduce decorative glass into an interior without the need for a large pendant lamp.

When illuminated, the glass reveals numerous reflections and highlights, allowing the piece to serve as both a functional light source and a decorative accent.

Condition: The glass shade retains its attractive appearance and shows no visible damage.
