The circular surface of molded clear glass displays stylized human figures and graphic marks arranged around a central spiral-shaped element. The relief decoration creates a refined dialogue between transparency, material, and light, transforming the plate from a simple decorative object into a true sculptural presence. The figures evoke the language of cave paintings and archaic imagery, reinterpreted through the graphic and symbolic exploration characteristic of Pomodoro’s work. The Arnaldo Pomodoro signature is clearly visible along the bottom edge. Glass specimens of similar diameter are documented in the art market and at Italian auctions. The piece shows slight signs of age and use consistent with its vintage character.
