Drawing clear inspiration from the sculptural space age aesthetic, the lamp is composed of three hand-blown opal murano glass cylinders stacked vertically and punctuated by precision-engineered chrome metal discs.

the contrast between the warm, velvety white blown glass and the reflective polished chrome elements gives this floor lamp an imposing yet sophisticated presence. Its clean columnar geometry allows it to function both as an impressive architectural sculpture during the day and a versatile ambient light source by night.

engineered with a dual-circuit lighting system operated via its original floor switch, the lamp offers two distinct illumination modes: soft partial ambient lighting or full three-tiered luminous warmth. This flexibility makes it an ideal center point for sophisticated mid-century, modern, or eclectic interiors.

excellent vintage condition. The three murano glass shades are intact with no chips, cracks, or restoration. The chrome-plated metal discs retain their bright mirror finish with negligible signs of age. Fully rewired, serviced, and safety-tested. Retains its original vintage floor switch with dual-button controls. Fitted with standard e27 bulb sockets, fully compatible with global voltage standards and modern led lamps.

what makes the 1970s tronconi totem floor lamp collectible?

tronconi's 1970s creations represent the peak of italian modular lighting, seamlessly combining venetian glassblowing traditions with industrial metalwork. Finding a complete three-tier totem lamp with undamaged murano glass sections and original switching hardware is increasingly rare for collectors.

to preserve the pristine condition of the opal glass and chrome details:

wipe the hand-blown murano glass shades with a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth slightly dampened with lukewarm water or a mild glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads or aggressive chemical solvents.

dust the chrome discs regularly with a dry microfiber cloth. To remove fingerprints or restore shine, use a specialized non-abrasive metal polish applied gently.

always unplug the lamp before cleaning or changing bulbs. Use led bulbs to minimize heat output and protect vintage internal components.
