Jens Risom was born in Denmark and son of the well-known architect Sven Risom. Later he moves to the U.S.A. and was one of the first designers to introduce Scandinavian design in the U.S.A.
This particular is a rare version of model 666. The chairs are fully restored; the solid oak frames are refinished while preserving authenticity and the seats are reupholstered with a beautiful olive green with cream fabric by Gabriel (65% New Zealand wool, 31% hemp). Also the interior of the seats are renewed.
Great chairs and very comfortable seating as well.
The chairs are in excellent condition. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
