The vase showcases a vibrant aqua-blue sommerso core encased within thick crystal-clear glass, a technique prized for creating depth, clarity, and rich color contrast.

The body displays pronounced rigadin-style vertical ribbing, which enhances the sculptural form while beautifully refracting light from every angle. Combined with the dramatic flared rim, the design exemplifies the elegant craftsmanship and organic styling associated with mid-century Murano glass.

Finished with a polished and ground pontil base, the vase reflects the quality workmanship of traditional Venetian glassmaking. The combination of the luminous blue sommerso casing and deeply ribbed clear glass creates a striking visual presence, whether displayed as a decorative centerpiece or used for floral arrangements.
